Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Miii.io, Inc., incorporated in Delaware, United States (“Miii,” “we,” “us”), operates miii.io. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, join the free waitlist, or contact us.

This policy does not cover data from a future app, device, riding session, product test, or purchase. We will provide current information for those activities before they begin.

2. Information we handle

Waitlist. We collect the name and email address you submit, plus the submission date and time. The entry is stored in Tilda CRM, which also creates a linked contact record.

Messages. If you contact us, we receive your contact details and the information you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is needed for your request.

Website and video use. Tilda, our analytics tools, and embedded Kinescope videos may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral information, and video interactions. The details depend on the services and settings in use. Visiting the website does not itself give us access to your phone’s precise GPS location or riding data.

3. How and why we use information

We use your name, email, and messages to maintain the waitlist and answer requests. Where the GDPR applies, our basis is our legitimate interest in handling the request you made. We use necessary technical information to provide and protect the website, based on our legitimate interests; where law requires consent for storage or access on your device, we will seek it.

We may use optional analytics to understand website use where permitted and, where required, with your consent. We may keep relevant records to meet legal obligations or handle legal claims.

Joining the waitlist is free. An email address is needed for an entry, but you can browse without joining. Joining the waitlist or accepting website terms does not, by itself, authorize unrelated marketing.

4. Emails and your choices

We may contact you about your waitlist request. We have not yet set up a marketing email program. Before sending optional project news, testing invitations, or future purchase offers, we will establish a lawful sign-up and unsubscribe process. An invitation to apply for testing does not guarantee a place in a test; a test would have separate terms and privacy information.

You may ask us to remove your waitlist entry or stop optional emails at sensei@miii.io. Marketing emails, when introduced, will include a way to unsubscribe. We may retain a minimal opt-out record to respect that choice.

5. Cookies, analytics, and videos

Our website uses Tilda, Tilda’s website statistics, and embedded Kinescope videos. Google Analytics has been connected to the project, but we are verifying whether its tag currently loads on every published page. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive technical information when their features load. Optional analytics and other non-essential technologies may require your prior choice under applicable law.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, although that may affect site or video features. Accepting website terms does not count as consent to optional tracking. We are reviewing the site’s cookie controls and will describe any additional choices when implemented.

6. Who receives information and where it is processed

The company’s founder currently has access to waitlist entries. Other authorized team members may receive access if their work requires it. Tilda provides the website, forms, statistics, and CRM. Kinescope provides embedded video. Google Analytics may receive website-use information if its tag is active. No separate email campaign provider is currently configured. We do not sell the waitlist contact list.

We may disclose relevant information when required by law, in response to a valid request by a public authority, or where reasonably needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. A change in business ownership may involve a lawful transfer of relevant records, with notice where required.

Miii is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We are reviewing the providers’ processing locations and the safeguards required for international transfers. Contact us for information about arrangements relevant to your data.

7. Retention and security

We keep a waitlist entry while the waitlist is active and the entry remains relevant, unless you ask us to remove it. We review older entries periodically and delete or de-identify information when no longer needed, subject to legal duties, claims, and minimal opt-out records. In Tilda CRM, a deleted lead normally remains in Trash for 14 days before permanent removal; a linked contact record may need separate deletion. Messages, technical logs, and analytics information are retained according to their purpose and service settings.

We use reasonable measures to restrict access and protect information from unauthorized use. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This does not reduce our duties under applicable data protection law.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information; restrict or object to certain uses; and withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Legal exceptions may apply. Contact sensei@miii.io. We may ask for reasonable information to verify a request and will respond within the applicable legal period.

If you are in the EU or EEA, you may complain to a data protection authority in your country of residence, work, or the alleged infringement. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator where you live. You do not have to contact us first to exercise a legal right.

9. Age and updates

The waitlist is intended for people who have reached the age of majority where they live. It is not directed at children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can review it.

We will show a new effective date when we update this policy and provide additional notice where required. If a new use requires consent, we will request it rather than infer consent from continued browsing.
